The flower of the day is the Fringed Gentian. It begin appearing on the beach about three days ago. Quite beautiful.
We think the bird of the day is a Flamingo. It showed up just after Greg and Lori arrived last Saturday. It must have followed them from Chicago.
The beach picture is to just show how nice it looks and to again thank those who worked on it for making it so.
The last picture is the green color the water looks just before a storm. We had a good one yesterday afternoon just after I took this picture. Wind and rain.
The other news is that we had a bat in the cabin last night (sorry, no picture). It landed on Sandra's face and woke her up about 4:00 a.. Her yell woke me up. We finally got it out about 5:30. And we thought we were doing so good. We sat out side on the deck late last night and we think (hope) it got in when the door was open. The screen doesn't fit real good, so there would have been plenty of room for one to get in. Bats we don't need.
