The flower of the day is the Purple Gerardia. It's a small but very pretty flower that is easy to find on the beach.
The Chickadee joined us when we were having tea on the deck. He seemed curious.
Judy McClure and her friend, Bert, came Friday and left yesterday morning. It was Judy's first time up here. Now if only Mary Jane would come. We had a wonderful time with Judy and Bert and they are now slowly making their way back to Warrensburg.
The weather changed for the good. We started getting a westerly blow Sunday afternoon and it continues today. It was rather strong at times with many white caps and the raft was pushed into the shore. We'll probably put it back out when and if the weather warms again and we feel like getting in the water, otherwise, its there to be brought on to the beach this Fall.
