The "tree" of the day is the Red Osier Dogwood. It was in flower in the middle of June.
This morning we got up rather early and after hanging out one load of wash we walked. We went up Old Ferry Dock Road and then down Black Rock. Along the way we took the picture of the butterfly and the Red Osier Dogwood berries. Then it was through the trail (which was in wonderful condition) and then to the cabin and breakfast on the deck. It was a good mornng.
